I treated my Hackberry with Mauget Imicide 2ml, Tree Injector, Insecticide late May in zip code 68123. I wanted to prevent the Hackberry gall psyllids from hatching in the fall.
The larva mature in the galls feeding by on the plant juices as I understand. Is it reasonable for me to expect the larva to be killed by this treatment?
Thanks
John
Hi John,
Yes, the Imicide you injected into the Hackberry trees this spring will translocate throughout the tree. The Hackberry gall psyllids will come in contact with the insecticide as they feed on the sap. They will be killed before they reach the adult stage.
